These are not 'real' blog-posts, but shorter updates I posted on Strava between the bigger activities. I've decided to post them here joined together, because without them the separate bigger stories might not completely make sense. There's a big chance no one will ever read all of my writings, but just in case: I hope it spares you some confusion.
Zwift - Flexible Free Ride on Sacre Bleu in France
Hell yeah!!!
My knee was still a little too swollen to go for the planned tempo-run, so I went and picked a different challenge. Trying to cycle for a few consecutive hours seemed like a logical next step in my process. I was still feeling good after about 60kms, so I took a quick hydration break and decided to keep going until I reached 100. Of course, it's not a 'real' 100. But just a few weeks ago, reaching triple digits - even on Zwift - still seemed very impossible. I'm very, very happy with this one!!
Some much needed rest now first, and likely a very long night of sleep. Hopefully I can do the run soon, too 🌞🤞🏻
DFKU #519 + Vélosophie + 💥🤡
Minor crash because a man randomly stepped onto the road from behind a parked car, literally walking into me. Didn't really get a response when I asked him what the fuck he was doing. He did have his arms stretched out in front of him upon approaching me, but I don't think he was intentionally trying to push me off my bike. (Or I would have crashed much, much harder.)
Everything's fine, only I landed on my (already bad) knee. But it seems like it's just a bruise 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I'm mostly just very confused by this man's behaviour 🤡
