Yay! Social events that last multiple days! ECMC was a blast, but even with booking an appartement separate from the event-housing, I only got about 60% of the sleep I actually needed. That meant today was going to be a challenge.

I had to check into today's hotel before 21:00, and at my departure, Garmin predicted I would arrive around 20:10. That meant nothing could go wrong. No time for unnecessary stops, or other things that could slow me down. Had to keep the legs moving and to make sure they kept getting the fuel they needed in order to do that. "Long distance cycling 101", you might say. But with my ADHD getting substantially worse when I'm sleep deprived, forgetting to eat (or drink) and getting lost in my own thoughts during my breaks are the first 2 things to go wrong.
Long story short: I arrived at the hotel around 19:45 and I'm really, really proud of myself, haha. Just a little over one hour of inactive time. I've been less efficient on days with full mental capacity 🤡
Hopefully I’ll catch up on some sleep tonight, big(ger) plans for tomorrow!! 🌞
