With RatN coming up, I knew I would eventually have to devote complete weekends to cycling. So I decided February was for the other stuff I like to do on weekends; drinking a few beers, going to some parties, and, well, whatever the hell else you do when you're young and have the time to fool around 🌞
Starting March 4th, we're back to being well-behaved 🙏

Since my job makes it hard - if not impossible - to follow a structured training anyway, in the coming weeks I'll just try to get as many hours of cycling in as I can, while listening to my legs. And hope to accidentally get a little faster in the meantime.
My plan is to cycle 300kms a day, and with that complete the race in 7 days. A race I won't actually be 'racing' because I'm not fast enough, and I also very much enjoy getting some sleep at night. The upcoming weeks will be about me trying to get to a point where cycling 300kms on a day is 'okay'. I would say that pre-February after cycling 250kms (or 10-12 hours) I'd still be fine the next day, so that's a good starting point I think :-)
The gap between 250 and 300 is a BIG one, but I'm sure I'll get there if I just keep pedalling 🧚🏻♀️✨️
